product description
Are the ports threaded or are all internal walls threaded? The interface is threaded for easy installation, and the inner wall is threaded to eliminate noise and have high heat exchange efficiency!
Threaded joints refer to threaded pipe connections, which are the most common pipe fittings in industry and life. Threaded joints make the connection of pipes easier, disassembly and replacement are easier, and the cost of pipe connection is greatly saved.
Threaded joints generally include threaded elbows, threaded tees, threaded unions, threaded pipe caps, threaded pipe ferrules, threaded reducers, threaded plugs, and cores. Pipe threads are more common in British and American systems.
Pipe threads are divided into the following three categories:
1. Inch pipe thread (55°)
Including: general sealing pipe thread (R), non-sealing pipe thread (G), old inch pipe thread (PT, PF) in Korea and Japan
2. American pipe thread (60°)
Including: general sealing pipe thread (NPT, NPSC), dry sealing pipe thread (NPTF, NPSF, NPSI, PTF-SAE SHORT), non-sealing pipe thread (NPSM, NPSL, NPTR, NPSH, NH, NHR)
3. Metric pipe thread (60°)
Including: general sealing metric pipe thread (MC, MP), non-sealing metric pipe thread (M).
In my country's old mechanical drawing standards: 55° sealing tapered pipe thread code is ZG, 60° general sealing tapered pipe thread code is Z,
In my country's new mechanical drawing standards: 55° sealed conical pipe thread is changed to column inner thread/cone outer thread (RP/R1) [2], tapered inner thread/cone outer thread (RC/R2) [3]; 60° The general sealing tapered pipe thread code is NPT (refer to the American standard).
The old and new standard 55° unsealed cylindrical pipe thread code is G.
